Homicide – Arrests: C21-261237

Update:

On November 7, 2021, the Winnipeg Police Service responded to a serious assault at Burrows Avenue and Aikins Street. An adult male was transported to hospital in critical condition where he succumbed to his injuries.

The Homicide Unit took over the investigation, and the deceased has been identified as Felix Bernard CHIEF, a 28-year-old male of Winnipeg. Investigators believe CHIEF was in the area when an unknown group of people confronted him, leading to his assault.

Three adults have been charged with this homicide.

  • Nicholas Brett MACDONALD, 26, (Manslaughter on December 8, 2021)
  • Jordan Rae MYERION, 23, (Second Degree Murder on December 10, 2021)
  • Jeremy Aaron SCOTT, 25, (Manslaughter on December 16, 2021)

All three have been detained in custody.
